UPG’s management of a select Team USA for the 2012 Jones Cup, proved a significant experience and opened many doors of collaboration between the block of countries that attended (Iran, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Jordan, Lebanon, Iran and Tawain/China). UPG not only conducted tryouts and carefully selected from professionals in Asia, but also outfitted the team with envious Team Menfes designs. The team finished in 3rd place behind Philippines and Iran, with a questionable overtime loss to Iran in the tournament. The team was viewed on nationally broadcasted ESPN affiliate in Taiwan, including interviews and press conferences with UPG staff.
